If the Democrats are so outraged that Valerie Plame's "cover" was blown--supposedly because it compromised her effectiveness on the job and the security of the country--then why can't they allow our military and our Commander-in-Chief to keep secrets? Instead of acknowledging that the U.S. military (with Bush as its commander) has a legitimate need for keeping secrets from the public, the Democratic party is on a search-and-destroy mission to expose any secret they can find to use as a weapon in a political battle.
What kind of secrets might need to be kept, regarding our military strategy? Things such as: Our reasons for going into Iraq and establishing a secured base in a key position within the Middle East. Our methods of dealing with enemy combatants. The number of troops we deploy. Our future battle plans.
POLITICIANS--LEAVE THE U.S. MILITARY ALONE! Our enemies have their secrets, our military MUST keep theirs.
And dems...give our troops and their commander the same right to secrecy that you've given a desk clerk in Virginia.
